Everything you need to know about Lowtemp Industries equipment
Lowtemp Industries pioneered high-pressure, low-temperature extraction equipment manufacturing starting in 2015. We set out to address industry issues with high-temperature extractions by engineering equipment that preserves terpenes, flavor, and quality while maximizing yield.
We are based in Denver, Colorado with a manufacturing hub in Wichita, Kansas. All of our equipment is proudly manufactured right here in the USA. We distribute globally to over 21 countries and counting.
Rosin appeals to consumers because it's completely solventless — no chemicals, no residual solvents, just pure flavor and potency. For producers, rosin offers lower overhead, higher ROI, a safer working environment, and eliminates the need for expensive hydrocarbon or CO2 extraction systems.
Absolutely. Our equipment fully supports solventless CBD product creation from hemp. The same presses and techniques used for cannabis rosin work beautifully with hemp material.
We use American Certified Aircraft Grade 6061 aluminum because it offers superior heat distribution across the entire platen surface, exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, and anodization durability that stands up to years of heavy commercial use.
Yields vary by input material. Flower typically yields 15–25%, fresh frozen whole plant yields 2–5%, and kief, sift, or bubble hash yields an impressive 60–90%. Quality of starting material is the single biggest factor in your returns.
On our 3x5 model you can press up to 40g of flower or 60g of hash per press. The larger 4x7 model handles up to 60g of flower or 150g of hash per press, making it ideal for commercial operations.
No functional downsides at all. The only considerations are the increased upfront cost and physical size of the unit. If you have the space and budget, the 4x7 gives you flexibility to scale up whenever you're ready.
It's all about balance. Higher pressure at lower temperatures lets you extract maximum yield without cooking off the delicate terpenes that give your rosin its flavor and aroma. Our systems are engineered to hit that sweet spot consistently, press after press.
